An aggressive, dramatic setting of the “War Psalm” for choir and piano. This music lives in the same harmonic and rhythmic universe as Z. Randall Stroope’s “Lamentations of Jeremiah” but is a notch more difficult. Changing time signatures (predominant use of 7/4) and a vigorous piano part.
